The Agricultural Sector is managed by a Group of dedicated experienced Agricultural Graduates and the Company has well spread Distribution System with one Offices in strategic position with required infrastructure of network to serve the farmers at the door step.Smart Agrovet Started their Business From 2015 & Jass Agro Ltd. came into being in the year 2012 and established itself as one of the quality product provider in Agricultural Crop Protection sector in Bangladesh. On the way of journey we associated with farmer, DAE, BCPA, Local Distributors, NGO, Spray Man and Principal Company. Due to proper cooperation above all tires we are operating our assignment successfully.Bangladesh is the most densely populated country, 75% people lives in countryside areas and also lowest land–man ratios of the world. Single Cropping area 2440659.10 hectare, Double Cropping area 3820637.14 hectare, Triple Cropping area 1637762.79 hectare, Net cropped area 7908771.50 hectare, Total cropped area 15034071.60 hectare. OUR BUSINESS

The Business is Crop Protection Chemical. Pesticides is one of the vital inputs required by the farmers for protection of Crops from insects, diseases and weeds. Pesticides is used both in field crops Rice, Pottato,Vegetables, Sugarcane, Jute, Wheat, Banana and Spices as a pre-harvest control and in stores for post-harvest control. Pesticides are restrictive products and its import, use and distribution are controlled and supervised by the regulatory authority (Plant Protection Wing- PPW) under the Ministry of Agriculture. A marketing company can only import and market the product which is specifically been screened, tested, field trial approved and provided a Registration Certificate by the Ministry of Agriculture. of date Smart Agrovet has 19 Registered products and Jass Agro Ltd has 28 Registered products. We partner with some world-renowned companies as Agro dragon co.ltd china, Agrochemical co.ltd.china, Sinochem Agrochemicals co.ltd china, Trust hem co. ltd china,Agromeen co.china,shangahi agrochemicals co. china etc.

Our Mission

To work with the success of our customers by offering best products in order to maximize the return of customer’s investment. In Bangladesh agriculture is the largest employment sector. Agriculture has an overwhelming impact on employment generation, poverty alleviation, human resources development and food security. A big number of people earn their living from agriculture. In the national GDP agriculture has a contribution of 14.23% and employs 41% in labor force. In Bangladesh total Cultivation land is 8505278.14 hectare; Total irrigated land is 7124895.41 hectare, Cultivate waste land 204366.24 hectare. Rice, maize, wheat, vegetable, salad, and spices is our main crops, apart from this there is Cash crop, Fruit and nuts, Oilseed crops, Root/tuber crops, Beverage crops, Sugar crops. Rice (three seasonal rice) production is 34.5 m. mton (4th largest) and Potato – (Area 4.5 lac hectare, Prod- 92 m.mton) (7th largest) among Asia. The cultivation of vegetables in our country is increasing day by day. Now vegetables cover 2.63 percent area of our cultivable land. Vegetable gives much more benefit to the farmers than the other crops and Per Capita consumption of vegetable 56 (g/day). 35 percent of the vegetable is wasted in the country. 150 types of vegetables are being cultivated in Bangladesh and exporting more than 48 types of vegetables. From Bangladesh vegetables are being exported to about 38 countries, but the major buyers are 10 (ten) countries. There can be a big prospect more.
